A-list workout secrets

An article in last Saturday’s times said “Pilates and yoga are no substitute for a sweaty workout.”

I enjoyed reading this article and agreed with the headline. Initially it annoyed me because who ever said it was? Apart from the magazines that claim celebs have achieved their A list bodies by yoga or Pilates alone that is. Peta Bee then went on to say that A -listers fitness regimes match those of Olympians rather than your average gym -goers. Well it is their job after all to look amazing and not bogged down by the minutiae of life’s daily chores they can concentrate on looking after what earns their pennies- their bodies.

We all know deep down that it take time, effort and a strong will to keep fit and healthy , but if you haven’t exercised for a while or have an injury or issue that effects you exercising then Pilates is a great place to start back on the road to fitness. Start gently, get to know your own body, improve your posture, alignment and core strength and the rest will follow. Join a class with a qualified reputable teacher and listening to our ipilates downloads you will find it easy to practise every day and soon reach your personal fitness target.
